Golden Bears Prepare for 2025-26 Season!

Friday, Oct 31, 2025 - The Upper Arlington Golden Bears edged closer to the 2025-26 season with a 4-1 win in their first scrimmage of the year against the Olentangy Braves! 

The Halloween matchup had the Bears putting the scare into the Braves early on with a 1st period goal by Ben Spence (#16) to take the lead.  Connor Hagkull (#22) followed it up with another water-bottle-shaking roofer early in the second frame, assisted by Spence (#16).  The Golden Bears would add one more in the 2nd period on a breakaway by Spence.

The Olentangy Braves found the net first, about halfway through the 3rd period and the early season scrimmage was capped off by Freshman, Luca Macedonia (#34), when he put up the final goal to take the Bears to a 4-1 win.

The Upper Arlington Golden Bears are back in action on Friday, Nov 7th, when they host the Miami Redhawks at Chiller North for an 8:00pm puck drop.
