O Captain! My Captain!............ 2025-26 JV and Varsity Captains Selected!!

Nov 3, 2025 - Upper Arlington Ice Hockey Captains were named for the 2025-26 Season and they have an eye towards leading the program to another successful year!  Captains were selected by their peers for their leadership on and off the ice as the Golden Bears maintain a 49-year tradition of representing their school and community.

The Varsity Golden Bears will be led by seniors Connor Hagkull (#22) and Henry Thackeray (#24) will serve as the Captains (C), alongside three Alternate Captains (A), senior PJ Thompson (#28), and juniors, Zane Gibson (#19) and Tate Rook (#15).

The JV team will be led by sophomore Captain (C) Myles Bednar (#56) and two Alternate Captains (A), junior Jonathan Lauer (#10) and freshman Owen Thackeray (#23).

Congratulations to the 2025-26 team captains!   GO BEARS!!
