Chris Garvey
Junior Varsity Coach

Chris graduated from UAHS in 1997. He played four years of ice hockey, three years on varsity. His senior year he was team captain.

Chris graduated from Miami University in 2002 with a degree in Business. While at Miami he participated in intramural hockey and was also a hockey referee. Since graduating, he has worked for Nationwide Financial in Dublin administering public sector retirement plans.

Chris is extremely excited about the opportunity to help coach the JV team. Watching and playing hockey are among his favorite pastimes. Chris is looking forward to a fun and successful season. 

David Thompson
Assistant Junior Varsity Coach

David graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 2005 where he was a great defenseman playing hockey under Jay Graham for all four years.  His senior year he was team captain.

David attended Miami University his freshman year where he played on the club team.  He then came back to Columbus and played three years of club hockey for Ohio State.  He is currently studying finance at OSU and will be graduating in December 2009.

David considers hockey one of his biggest passions.  Although he will miss playing competitive hockey as a player, David relishes the opportunity to contribute as assistant coach of the JV team.  He is extremely excited for the upcoming season!
