Junior Varsity Coaches

Nick Wilkinson
Junior Varsity Head Coach

Nick Wilkinson graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 2002.  As a four-year Varsity letterman, Nick co-captained the team his senior year.  Following his high school career, Nick continued playing hockey for Ohio University and the University of Colorado where he completed his undergraduate studies in Accounting.  In 2007, Nick returned to Columbus and began coaching within the Hilliard organization.  After two years with their Junior Varsity, and one year with their Varsity, Nick left to join Upper Arlington's coaching staff.  Nick is very excited to rejoin the Upper Arlington family and continue his coaching career.


 

David Amtsberg
Assistant Junior Varsity Coach

Assistant JV Coach, David Amtsberg, returns after a two year break to start his 4th season with the program.  As a former Golden Bear, David was a two-time Varsity Captain of the hockey team and recipient of multiple individual awards.  David graduated in 1996 and went on to study and graduate from the Fisher College of Business at OSU.  Throughout his college years, he played on intramural hockey teams.  Today he suits up as a regular in the Chiller adult league as well as a few select tournaments each year.

 

David and his wife, Jenna, currently reside in Dublin.  He has been employed by CEVA Logistics for 10 years as a Supply Chain Manager.  David is thrilled to once again be behind the bench coaching.


 

Larry Behum
Assistant Junior Varsity Coach

Larry received his Bachelors degree in Economics from Bowling Green State University.  He serves as Financial Advisor on the Alumni Board of Trustees for The Delta Chi Fraternity.  Larry currently runs a roofing company, Labmark, Inc.

Larry has just under twenty years experience playing ice hockey.  Larry currently plays in the adult Chiller League under the team name:  Team Team.

Larry and his wife Dana reside in Powell.  Larry's hobbies include fly fishing, testing batteries, making ice cubes, and throwing rocks at trees.
